The report log given by the municipality’s inspector dated on the 17th of Mart (1)314 includes (the information) that the wall of the cemetry outside Bab al Asbât is damaged (and has fallen onto the) street. The inspection made by the engineer has shown that the damaged wall is one of the walls of the Yûsufiyya cemetry. Therefore it has been decided by the council to repair the mentioned wall immediately ? (bi wudj al amâna) under the supervision of the honorable Yûsuf Effendi Nussaybi and the engineer Ibrâhîm, on the condition that the expenses will not exceed 200 piasters. In order for this to be approved and to pay what is needed in a progressive way from the municipal treasury, this decision was taken on the 18th of Mart (1)314 (30th of March 1898).
