According to the announcement of the district council (majlis idârat al liwa) dated on the 12th of Mayîs (1)308 which has been transferred to this department and to the treasury of the district, it has been decided by the council to repair (illegible) at Damascus Gate (Bâb al ‘Amûd) for a cost of five hundred and forty-eight qirsh to be paid in installments (dârij al band). This will be done by master Ilyâs Dawûd Bandûr. In order for the works to begin and in order for the payment of the mentioned amount to be made from the treasury of the council, this decision was taken on the 13th of Mayîs (1)308 (25th of May 1892).
