According to the decision dated on the 11th of Tishrîn Thâni (1)322, numbered 1020 and which was issued by the higher district council about the construction of (Qurat Ghûnkhana) in Bâb Al-Maghâriba. The cost of this construction is estimated at 3,000 piasters and 30 paras safi al-khazîna to be paid from (Al Rizi fund), public debts and the municipal department, with each body paying a third. From the military department Amin Effendi has been appointed, Arif Aweida Effendi has been appointed representative of the public debt directorate and Abdullah Baker Effendi al-Dawudi has been appointed representative from Al-Rizi directorate. In order for the above mentioned place to be established with the knowledge and supervision of the above mentioned people, a decision has been taken to appoint one of us, Arif Effendi Aweida and engineer Ibrahim Effendi. In order to obtain the approval, this decision was taken on the 28th of Tammûz (1)323 (10th of August 1907).
