Construction work to be done under council members’ direct supervision
The construction fees for 10 days over the past 12 years has been proposed for public bid and the announcement has been given for many days. Since no one expressed interest in bidding, the council has decided to delegate its administration to the municipality. The respectable Yûsuf Effendi Nusayba and Shlomo Effendi Mizrahi have been appointed as supervisors. The returns have to be delivered to Shlomo Effendi, and each of the supervisors will be given one majîdî riyal as fees for their beasts for the mentioned 10 days. A register of returns and expenses should be organized and presented to the council. In order to obtain approval, this decision has been taken, and the two commissioners have been appointed on the 29th of Tishrîn Awwal (1)312 (10th of November 1896).
