Our council member Hüseyinf Effendi has been appointed for the arrangement and decoration work necessary for removing the dirt, soil and debris on the road extending from the Hebron gate to the Municipal Hospital; and again, our council member Yusuf Effendi has been appointed for the work to be done on the roads extending from Hovace Paskal’s house to Damascus Gate and from Hüseyin Bey’s house to the French Hospital. As for the road extending from the companies and Hüseyin Bey’s house to Telul al-Masaniye (?), Beşvua (?) Effendi has been appointed; and as for those within the country, Abdullah Nemir Effendi, İs Katniye Effendi, Fransis Effendi, Nikola Effendi and Bagos Effendi have been appointed, with sergeants assigned to escort each of them. This situation is hereby presented for your information. The 12th of Tishrîn Awwal (1)314 (24th of October 1898).
