We announce to all tobacco vendors in al-Quds al-Sharîf that it is urgent to contact the Department of Public Debt in Jerusalem to obtain licenses within two days staring at the date below. [Therefore,] whoever is late would be fined twice and his store would be closed with the knowledge of the mentioned government. In order for the above mentioned guilds to be known, the directions were published the 7 Mârt (1)312 (19th of March 1896).
