In the letter given by the municipal engineer, it is stated that a wall of the house, which is located in Bâb-al-cedid of the Vad neighborhood and belongs to Süleyman Al Muvakkat Effendi, is about to collapse and poses a threat to passersby, and that the possible threat must be removed either by demolition or reparation. Thereupon, in accordance with the 48. article of the Public Buildings Regulation, the said person was warned on 31 October 1904 to immediately remove the threat of collapse, but nothing has been done up to now. Therefore, in accordance with the article of the said regulation, it is necessary to demolish this wall after the arrangement of a mandate of a committee composed of the municipal engineer İbrahim Effendi, muhtar of the neighborhood and an official from the municipal police force, with demolition expenses be covered from the wreckage cost or collected from the owners. It is thus appropriate to relegate the matter to the municipal police force to take due action in respect thereof. The 29th of Kânûn Awwal (1)320 (11th of February 1905).
