To the said person, three licenses were given to construct 3 buildings at a measure of 3,336 arşın. It was observed that subsequent to the completion of the construction, a land which is in line with the building owned by the said person was purchased and an unlicensed fourth building was constructed. Although the measures of this unlicensed building were requested, the nuns in the building did not accept this. According to the external measure by the engineer, it was understood that the building is approximately 1,938.5 ell. According to the herewith presented bill, the legal tax of this unlicensed building amounts to 2,738.5 piasters. In order to enjoin the said nuns that this sum be sent and that, in case of any hesitation with respect to the measures of the building, a municipal council member and the municipal engineer shall be sent there to re-measure the building in the presence of the building owner, it is appropriate to report the matter to the Consulate of the French Republic with an official letter. The 22nd of Nîsân (1)315 (4th of May 1899).
