Page 2. Mahdar from the notables of al-Quds: Hasan, muftī and naqib; Mustafa, mutasallim; Muhammad, aga of yeniceri and others, legalized by as-sayyid Muhammad Sadiq, qādī of al-Quds.
They contain information about the movement of the French troops who have banished Ibrahim bey wālī of Misr from Bilbays and then have captured al-Qarin and al-Awraq. Gunpowder is necessary for the protection of al-Quds.
