As there has been little rain this year, there is a need to facilitate the provision of water possibly to be needed by the people. For this purpose, water shall be brought by railroad train from the springs in Battir and Hanya. The railroad administration has considered it appropriate to transfer, under the conditions and at various charges specified in the enclosed note, 150 cubic meter of water on a daily basis to the pool to be constructed in the station. Halidizâde Muhiddin Effendi proposed to give owners 2.06 piasters, specified by the above-written decision by the Sanjak Administrative Council, for each cubic meter of water to be brought at the specified transport fee and to sell each tulum of this water to the needers at the station for 0.25 piasters. This price has been deemed suitable and it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council so as to decide on its tender. The 23rd of Mayîs (1)317 (5th of June 1901).
