Scope and content

Upon the Waqfs Accounting’s marginal note dated 7 April 1909 and numbered 13, regarding the organization of a Dutch auction of the estimated cost of 311,330 piasters for the reparation of Al Aqsa Mosques, Sahratullâh-ı Müşerrefe and other holy locations situated within the Temple Mount in Jerusalem
The reparation expenses specified in the attached inspection report have been put on Dutch auction. Due to the large quantity ot the sum, no master has come up to offer a guarantee for this, and as the Engineer Paskal Effendi has also explained that there is no interest in the reduction, it is necessary that the said reparation be carried out on governmental account; though, it is appropriate to take due action in respect thereof. The 5th of Mayîs (1)325 (18th of May 1909).
