Upon the letter, dated 22 January 1907 and numbered 1344, by the Sanjak Administrative Council, regarding the fact when the prices estimated by survey officials for the lands and buildings of the villages whose surveys had been completed were relegated to the municipality all over again, the said prices were estimated by the municipality at a quite low rate
The estimated prices of the real estates and lands of the villages being relegated to our council for reappraisal are appropriate and perhaps twenty-percent higher than their real values. It is certain for our council that the treasury’s law has been properly protected as regards the said estimation in line with the specified cost during land sales realized in some villages. Nonetheless, it is clear that, if no conclusion can be reached regarding the said values, they can be corrected if they are relegated to the Sanjak Administrative Council for appeal.
