Item JM-AIY/OttomanRegisters/Vol6/p63a/item431 - Regarding the election of the head of the council, 8 July 1897 (Gregorian calendar) - 26 Huzayrân 1313 (Ottoman fiscal calendar (Rumi)

It is stipulated by the 4th article of the Provincial Municipality Regulation that the person who would be appointed as the head of the council has to be elected. Thus, it is appropriate to communicate in reply that someone amongst the members of the Municipal council will be chosen temporarily, and during the election someone else who is active will be appointed, and that there is no objection to the permission granted by a municipal officer. The 26th of Huzayrân (1)313 (8th of July 1897).
