We announce that the telegram dated on the 25th of Shubât (1)321, issued by the district of Nablus and referred to this department, states that it has been decided to take a sum of 60 para for each carriage that enters the city, whether used for loading or passengers. A sum of 30 paras will be taken for each load, a sum of 20 paras for a horse or a mule and a sum of 10 paras for each beast, in order to finance the expenses of the municipal hospital there. Stone, coal and wood loads, as well as loads of mîrî departments and foreigners are exempted from these fees. The issue has been offered for public bid for the first of Rajab, (1)322 and (1)323, for the bidder who will pay a sum of 100,000 piasters. Final referral will be done on the 28th of Shubât (1)321. All those wishing to enter the bid should contact the municipal department in Jersusalem before the expiry of the referral period. Therefore, these procedures were announced on the 27th of Shubât (1)321 (12th of March 1906).
