This is the marginal note written upon three attached petitions sent via the consulates of the below-written persons regarding the installation of a gaseous steam engine into Ramiz Abde’s (?) house, in the location of Tulu’l-al-musabin, one of which was given on 24 December 1905, by the German subject Hayyim Tisyon Şebz; the other on 29 December 1905, by the American subject Bartit Şabira (?), and Musa Heron Liyonzon (?) and Yakub Heron Labiz (?); and the other on 24 December 1905, by the Austrian subject Samuel Bittir (?)
It has been understood from the above-written explanation by the municipal engineer that if a gaseous steam engine is installed into the said place, it would be dangerous and objectionable. Thus, as regards prohibiting Ramiz Abde from installing the said engine, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Police Office. The 15th of Shubât (1)321 (28th of February 1906).
