The archive contains about 100 folders. It has lists of Galician Jews before the holocaust as well as the lists of all the cities and towns in which they lived. The folders contain many historical letters, postcards and other documents most of which are related to fund-raising travels or the exchange of letters between rabbis and other community leaders. It also contains letters with relating to attempts to secure permits for Jews to migrate to Palestine and escape Galicia before and shortly after the beginning of the Nazi occupation of Poland. A part of the collection was digitised two years ago with enhancement of keywords. The material is kept on 10 CDs. The oldest material is from the years after WWI, 1917 onward.

A large part of the material has not been digitised yet, including all photo albums (3) and glass negatives (20 boxes with approx. 20 glasses in each, a total of 400 pieces). These contain photos of members of the community, men, women and children, taken at unknown date in the beginning of the 20th century.
