Petition sent by Suleiman Sahin.

His stubbornness was the reason why he converted to the Latins, even though he is among the notables of Ein Arik. The Blessed of Neapolis told him to convert back to Christianity and promised to give him 100 mecits to cover his expenses. Because he was too stubborn, he refused to take the money, but now he fears that he might suddenly die, before or after he converts to Christianity. He is kindly begging for 100 mecits and for this he will provide mortar or wood, whatever would please His Beatitude.

Petition sent by Sems id din il Sourafa.

When he sold his share of the shop (to the court), he was given by the Dragoman a parcel with the amount of 50 Turkish liras. But, he was too shy to count the money (ashamed of the court), so he went straight home and counted them there and found out that there were only 49 liras inside the parcel. He notified the Dragoman about this, but he told him that this is how he received the parcel from the Treasurer and he gave it to him intact. The petitioner is kindly asking to be given 1 lira.
