From Torgom Gushakyan, Head of the Armenian diocese of Egypt, and Patriarch of Jerusalem, to Arshak Chopanyan, 1927-1932

Torgom Gushakyan asks Chopanyan to ask Poghos Nubar to mediate in arranging the disagreements between him and the Dashnaks. Torgom Gushakyan was the head of the Armenian diocese of Egypt, the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem. He thanks Chopanyan for congratulating him on being elected as the head of the Egypt diocese. He writes about supporting Cilicia, electing Yeghishe Duryan as a patriarch of Jerusalem, Duryan's trip to Jerusalem, Duryan's activities, certain people's prestige among the monks of the Jerusalem patriarchate, some monks' behavior, election of brotherhood members, political alarms in Egypt, transfer of donations, his literary activity, Catholicos Garegin, the negative attitude of the people towards the Dashnaks (political party).

From the Armenian Youth Union (Jerusalem) to Vahan Tekeyan

The Armenian Youth Union send out an invitation for a meeting before the day of the first republic (May 28) during which they are planning ceremonies. In another letter they ask for the professional assistance of young people who get published in the journal HEM of the Armenian Youth Union. They thank Vahan Tekeyan for sending his collection of poems, and invite him to a literary ceremony organized by the Union members of Haifa.
