Scope and content

Torgom Gushakyan was the head of the Armenian diocese of Egypt, the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem. He thanks Chopanyan for congratulating him on being elected as the head of the Egypt diocese. He writes about supporting Cilicia, electing Yeghishe Duryan as a patriarch of Jerusalem, Duryan's trip to Jerusalem, Duryan's activities, certain people's prestige among the monks of the Jerusalem patriarchate, some monks' behavior, election of brotherhood members, political alarms in Egypt, transfer of donations, his literary activity, Catholicos Garegin, the negative attitude of the people towards the Dashnaks (political party).
