The Sanjak Administrative Council’s decision, dated 19 September 1908 and numbered 863, given upon the petition dared 14 September 1908 containing the objection by the former municipal sergeant Nikola Effendi due to his dismissal from his post
It was observed by our council member Muhammed Kattab Effendi that the petitioner performed maltreatment toward the people and ignored the beating of fellah women. An inquiry into the Court of First Instance and the Court of Appeal will show that a series of suits have been brought against him in these courts, due to his behavior characterized by bad morality and his discord with the people. Nonetheless, since some part of municipal incomes have been removed, a decision has been taken to dismiss him from his post. The 11th of Aylûl (1)324 (24th of September 1908).
