There is a tax debt of 950 piasters due from the person named Mehmed Abu Ayd (?), the multazim of the announcement tax for 1311 (1895 - 1896); this debt has been demanded from him, yet nothing could be obtained. Hence, it has been considered appropriate to summon him by the municipal police force, request from him to pay the said money or else, to imprison him, in accordance with the 40. article of the Municipal Councils Regulation, until the payment of this money. As regards taking due action in respect thereof, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the municipal police force. The 16th of Kânûn Awwal (1)311 (28th of January 1896).
