Torgom Gushakyan was the head of the Armenian diocese of Egypt, the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem. He thanks Chopanyan for congratulating him on being elected as the head of the Egypt diocese. In one of the letters Gushakyan thanks Chopanyan for congratulating him on being elected the Patriarch of Jerusalem.
