report and timetable; in 1909 Committee "Union and Progress" founded New Ottoman college for all nationalities and religions, financed by donations, foreign consulate's aid and college fee. Programme: Turkish, Arabian, French languages, geography, history, arithmetic, gymnastics, no religious education. Population imposed religious education, college administration accepted. 80 students, including 25 Muslims, 2 Jews, others are Orthodox. English and French consulates and local authorities didn't support college, teachers are bad paid, one third of students leaved it; moral conflicts in society; public education.
