Petition sent by Muhammet Halaf.

Last year, His Beatitude visited Bethany to attend the inauguration of the Church of the blessed Thavorios, there he accepted the petitioner's offering (meaning, the water well in front of the church). Now a long time has passed and he would like to remind His Beatitude of this offering (he doesn't say the reason why).

Petition sent by Ali Hammut.

He used to be a servant at the Monastery of Prophet Elias, he was accused of murder and was convicted into four months in prison. Because he needed money, he asked for his 8-month salaries from the abbot, but the latter refused to pay him, saying that his salaries were used by the government. He is asking for the abbot Maximos to be ordered to give him his salaries.

Petition sent by Tzoupran Rakape.

One night, the son-in-law of the Mukhtar Koutsi assaulted him and almost killed him. He reported this to the Dragoman, but he said the case would be examined by the government. The government ruled in favour of Koutsi. The petitioner is asking for a fair trial, if His Beatitude also agrees with that. The petitioner is bedridden (this is true).

Petition sent by Nasrallah Isa.

The reason he came to Jerusalem was to report that the Latins saved his daughter from the Turks who had abducted her. He isn't reporting this because he is a Latin, he is an Orthodox. On his way here, he suffered what is know to you and now he can't go back to his hometown unless his case is closed, because it's a shame as he is one of the officials.
