He paid 20 liras, obeying an order from His Beatitude, in order to find a woman for his son to marry. However, the father of the bride saw this and decided to give his daughter to a Latin, who offered to pay him 47 liras, disobeying the order from His Beatitude. What he is asking is at least to get his 20 liras back.

They were involved in a case with Salem Tztit (Σάλεμ Τζτίτ), for which they made an official and documented settlement in the Dragoman’s headquarters. But the litigant didn't comply with the terms of the settlement. The petitioners are asking for the Dragoman to be ordered to give them the settlement documents, so as to enforce the ruling.

Last year, he got robbed of some jewellery which he was keeping as collateral. He is obliged to pay the price for them, and because he owns olive trees in the village of Apoud which he has put on mortgage, he is asking for the Ottoman in Apout to be ordered to pay him his money and take ownership of the olive trees; or to be given the permit to sell his olive trees, so that he can pay for the stolen jewellery.

He has made a request in the past to His Beatitude but his request wasn't processed. Now he is begging for the first available job to be given to him, i.e. as a substitute teacher and verger, because he is very poor, he has a family and he doesn't have the means to take care of them.

His nephew is being enlisted for military service and he wishes to relieve him from this duty, either by offering an amount of money or by having another man take his place. If none of this happens, he is asking His Beatitude to request from the government, not to send his nephew to a faraway military post but to serve in Jerusalem.
