The Kaymakamlık of Hebron’s marginal note, dated 24 May 1909 and numbered 56, regarding the collection of intestine tax
With the re-implementation of the Constitution, the said intestine tax has been ceased to be taken in Jerusalem. However, in accordance with the mentioned telegram by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council for holding a negotiation about whether it is possible to accept the Halil Municipal Council’s demand. The 18th of Mâyîs (1)325 (31st of May 1909).

It has been understood from the explanations given by the headman of the quarter of Damascus Gate dated on the 3rd of Tishrîn Awwal (1)326 that ‘Abdul-Ghanî Qataniyya found an abandoned baby boy. In order to feed and bring up the infant, the council has decided to entrust him to ‘Abdul-Ghanî and pay the latter a sum of 50 piasters according to the official currency starting from the 1st of Tishrîn Awwal (1)326. Accordingly, this decision was taken on the 4th of Tishrîn Awwal (1)326 (17th of October 1910)..
