Scope and content
In the report given today by the municipal engineers, it is stated that an unlicensed church construction has been started by the Franciscan Nuns in the Kıbliye (?) village of Jerusalem. For such a construction to begin, there is first of all a need for Sultan’s edict containing his permission, so it is necessary to notify those concerned that the said church construction must be immediately stopped until a license is obtained. In order to impose the necessary punishment to the above-written architects, it is appropriate to issue an order to the municipal police force for summoning them and the muhtars of the Kıbliye village. The 12th of Huzayrân (1)317 (25h of June 1901).
